Radar goes in for his 2 week follow up this week, which means I am taking off from work to get this good boi looked at to make sure his ear infections are clearing up and that he is on the mend. I probably have to talk to the vet about getting his teeth cleaned too, since he HATES having his teeth brushed. Sigh.
This is the most exciting thing happening in my life right now.
Well, this and the “countdown” to my summer trip to Japan which happens 14 weeks from now—too far away to be a countdown yet, I think. There is a LOT of school that still needs to happen in those 14 weeks, including a short spring break during which time I plan to practice my bed-rotting skills (a.k.a. staying in bed all day to eat, watch Netflix and otherwise, rot). Then there will be report cards, a luau, a girl get away, a bake sale, frenetic house cleaning before the trip, packing, some expensive dog teeth cleaning, May Day, and report cards again, listed in no particular order.
And THEN, Japan! Phew!
Then I get to eat all the things, and see, and do all the things—including taking a long, deep breath and just enjoying doing nothing with the people that I love, in the city that I love.
Until then, there is still so much road to travel and “miles to go before I sleep…”
Stay tuned.
That summer trip has got to be such a light at the end of the school year work tunnel. 🎉
So happy for you & the pooch there!!
Whew you sure have a lot to do. Sounds like a wonderful time ahead for you lady. Thrilled for you!
